Palm now offering Centro for $299 unlocked
Okay, maybe this isn’t the news of the year. And im guessing that probably alot of people out there are really not gonna care, but I cant fucking wait to get this phone, and I was going to buy it off ebay or something, but this is much cheaper and much more reliable. Unfortunately it only comes in one ugly color, but I guess I’ll just have to deal. Click here to buy. 
Helio to shut its doors?! Rumor has it.
Well folk, the rumor of the day is that Helio is done. over. Hard to believe that they might suffer the same fate as unfortunate competitor, Amp’d Mobile.
Sources are saying that Virgin Mobile has been talking about taking over, though that isn’t positive yet. Though the companies have been in talks for a while now.

T-Mobile OTA already beginning to roll out ?!
Believe it or not, apparently its true.
Lots of people are reporting having already received the OTA, which bumps users up to OS version 4.6. Videos are starting to be posted on YouTube by people showing off the sidekick’s new video capabilities.
The OTA was originally scheduled to roll out starting the 25th. So what happened guys, decided not to keep us in suspense any longer? Somebody press the wrong button down at Danger? =X
Well to be honest, I really don’t give a fuck. I just cant wait till I receive it, as I own an LX.

Verizon begins offering My Circle after purchase of Alltel
I think we all saw this coming, after all, Verizon wouldn’t just push away all the greatness of alltel into a dust-laden corner. I had a feeling Verizon would do something like this.
Well okay, maybe they didn’t exactly come right out and offer My Circle, but it’s a baby step. On Verizon business plans, you can call your 5 favorite numbers for only an additional $4.99/mo. Sounds pretty snazzy to me, and alot more simpler than T-Mo’s MyFaves.
Wondering when it will be offered to all Verizon customers? So do I.
Sidekick OTA to roll out June 25
Yes, you’re hearing right. If your jumping up and down and so excited that your veins are popping out of your skin, then you’re probably as about as excited as me. So look, sometime after June 25th you will receive the OTA, it is random so don’t expect your phone to go YAY at midnight. New Tony Hawk Edition SideKick, LX OTA coming soon.
The new Tony Hawk Special Edition has been announced. Some say they don’t like it, but it looks pretty hot to me. It supposedly will have some type of skateboard-type feel to it. Word. Release date: July 9th for current T-Mobile customers, July 16 for all others.
The phone will come shipped with better bluetooth, and video — making it the first sidekick to do so. And T-Mobile has said that “this summer” an OTA will be sent out that will allow all LX’s to do video, something that I am dying to receive ever since I heard the news. Thanks alot T-Mo for being oh so specific. Peachy.
My guess is that we will all receive the OTA on July 9th. I’ll bet money on it. Mark these words.
Palm Centro comes to Verizon
As of Friday, Verizon has followed competitors Sprint and AT&T by adding the Palm Centro to its line-up. All I’m hoping is that T-Mobile will pick it up too, because I’d buy that thing in a heartbeat. I’d be sitting around waiting for my SideKick to break. But for now I guess I’ll just have to wait.
My good friend Kuba just got one of these, the white and green from AT&T. And even though I may despise them, I cant help but be sooo jealous of him! Jesus fucking christ, I really want one of these

The Centro is sporting a navy blue finish, which i cant help but get turned on by and wish it were my own. And with Verizon’s high speed EV-DO running on that thing, i can’t help but scream with envy. And to top the icing on the cake – no Verizon firmware! The Palm OS has been left intact! Wooo. Definantely beyond happy here, I would definantly consider getting on a share plan with my sister for this one.
Come on now T-Mobile, we’re waiting on you.
T-Mobile To Go takes a step up to the big boys

As of last thursday, T-Mobile has revamped their prepaid sector. For a dollar a day, you get unlimited nights starting at 7PM and unlimited mobile-to-mobile, which sounds pretty snazzy to me. If only I had more friends with T-Mobile…
Seems as T-Mo has jumped on the bandwagon like the rest of the big 4 with the dollar a day prepaid.
The former Prepaid service is still available. Sidekick plan also.
Verizon acquires Alltel
When I first heard this note from a CBS mobile news alert, i fell out of my chair. It’s fucking crazy. It might not affect me much because Alltel doesn’t cover my area anyway, but Alltel was one damn nice carrier. And their UPrepaid (I wonder how much longer this link will last) was the shit yo. It just hurts me inside to know that ugly-ass big red is taking control of such a nice little company, with such potential. We have one message for you Verizon, suck it.
