Well folk, the rumor of the day is that Helio is done. over. Hard to believe that they might suffer the same fate as unfortunate competitor, Amp’d Mobile.
Sources are saying that Virgin Mobile has been talking about taking over, though that isn’t positive yet. Though the companies have been in talks for a while now.

When I first heard this note from a CBS mobile news alert, i fell out of my chair. It’s fucking crazy. It might not affect me much because Alltel doesn’t cover my area anyway, but Alltel was one damn nice carrier. And their UPrepaid (I wonder how much longer this link will last) was the shit yo. It just hurts me inside to know that ugly-ass big red is taking control of such a nice little company, with such potential. We have one message for you Verizon, suck it.
